The Center for Spiritual Community meets for several weekends each year to engage in spiritual practices that strengthen our ability to tap into the abundant resources of love, support and healing that are always available. As a community, we aspire to deepen our spiritual consciousness to bring about healing and transformation within ourselves, our wider communities
and the world. These weekends require pre-registration to attend.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact the Center by phone: 814-337-8399, or by email: [email protected].
Our 2024 weekend schedule is as follows:
January 20-21, 2024
March 23-24, 2024
April 20-21, 2024
May 18-19, 2024
September 7-8, 2024
October 5-6, 2024
December 7-8, 2024 (includes our Holiday program on Dec. 8)
In addition, we offer regular gatherings to hold light for the needs of our community and the world.
We do this through the Circle of Compassion and Satsangs:
Circle of Compassion – Chanting and meditation are common practices at the Center to support inner growth and deepen our spiritual connection. When we come together for the Circle of Compassion however, we chant and meditate with the specific intent of consciously holding the world, the planet and all beings for healing. We see this as an important way to be of service at a deep level; it is work that we offer for others. The Circle of Compassion is held at the Center most Sundays (see exceptions below) from 10:00 AM – approx. 11:15 AM. If you would like to participate, please reach out to our office staff by phone at 814-337-8399, or by email: [email protected].c

Satsang is a Sanskrit term derived from two roots: sat meaning "true’" and sangha meaning “community, company or association.” It can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth," and refers to the act of gathering with like-minded, uplifting people, especially those on a spiritual path. Our Satsangs consist of chanting and meditation, followed by an informal gathering (with snacks) and are offered on the following Saturdays, beginning at 3 PM and ending about 5 PM. If you would like to participate, please reach out to our office staff by phone at 814-337-8399, or by email: [email protected].c
