History of The Center for Spiritual Community
What was begun by Sandra Barnard as The Full Spectrum School of Healing and Self Transformation in the mid 1990’s, organically evolved into the Full Spectrum Center for Spiritual Awakening in 2010 and, after Sandra’s death, into The Center for Spiritual Community in 2022-2023. Throughout all of its years, this Center has been an environment of healing, self-discovery and transformation, radical life change and spiritual growth for many.
During her nearly 30 years as the spiritual teacher at the Center, Sandra helped individuals explore a variety of spiritual traditions and healing modalities, including hands on energy work, meditation, chanting, and in depth individual and group work, all with the goal of helping them to emotionally mature and spiritually evolve. Sandra recognized the sacred wisdom underlying all spiritual traditions and encouraged her students to focus on the universality—Divine Essence—that unites us all.
This spirit of inclusiveness continues today. The Center for Spiritual Community acknowledges the Divine in each of us and embraces the importance of continued self-growth and service in the world.
