In addition to our weekend gatherings, we offer regular opportunities to hold light for the needs of our community and the world.
We do this through
the Circle of Compassion and Satsangs:

Circle of Compassion – Chanting and meditation are common practices at the Center to support inner growth and deepen our spiritual connection. When we come together for the Circle of Compassion however, we chant and meditate with the specific intent of consciously holding the world, the planet and all beings for healing. We see this as an important way to be of service at a deep level; it is work that we offer for others.

The Circle of Compassion is held at the Center most Sundays (see exceptions below) from 10:00 AM – approx. 11:15 AM.  If you would like to participate, please reach out to our office staff by phone at 814-337-8399, or by email: [email protected].c

Due to other Center programming, the Circle of Compassion will NOT be held on the following dates:
Jan 31, 2027
March 21, 2027
April 18, 2027
May 23, 2027
August 1, 2027

Satsang is a Sanskrit term derived from two roots: sat meaning "true’" and sangha meaning “community, company or association.”  It can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth," and refers to the act of gathering with like-minded, uplifting people, especially those on a spiritual path.  Our Satsangs consist of chanting and meditation, with the option of joining the community for Circle of Compassion and/or a potluck lunch before the Satsang begins.

2027 Satsang dates are still being planned. Please check back for updates.
